Tourist Information

This old log house is the first thing you see when you arrive at The Cobalt Works. Here you’ll find information, a small gift shop, a kiosk, and public toilets.

If you visit us for the first time we strongly recommend a visit here at the tourist information. Our hosts will give you advices on what to see and experience. Here you can also buy tickets for the art exhibitions if you want to, but remember that the rest of the museum very free entrance.. 

This is Modum municipality's official tourist office, authorized by NHO reiseliv. This means that we also have a selection of brochures about things you can experience elsewhere in the region.

There is a small selection of books for sale, along with some of our famous cobalt blue glass and other souvenirs (there’s more to buy in the museum’s other shops). You can begin or end your visit with a cup of coffee, an ice cream, or something sweet to bite into, at one of our pleasant café tables.
