Tickets
Our areas are open and for free use by everyone. If you’d like to enjoy a day in our beautiful park and hiking areas, you are most welcome! Parking is also free.
You don't need tickets if you only want to visit shops, restaurants or the Children's Farm. The only things that do require a ticket are guided mining tours and entrance to the art exhibition at Blaafarveværket. At the art exhibition, you buy a ticket on site. Tickets for mining tours can be purchased here at blaa.no.
We take carer certificates both at the art exhibition and on mining tours in the Cobalt Mines.
Prices and ticket types
The anniversary exhibition - Norwegian highlights from Kode Bergen at Blaafarveværket - NOK 199,-
(Children under 15 years - free of charge)
Tickets for the art exhibition at Blaafarveværket can be purchased at the entrance.
Please note! Guided tours of the exhibition take place every day in July at 12.30 pm and are included in the ticket price.
Free admission to Nyfossum and the Kittelsen Museum at the Cobalt Mines.
Guided tours in the Cobalt Mines
Meet at the Cobalt Mines for all guided mining tours. This is 8 km from Blaafarveværket /The Cobalt Works. The address is Malmveien 620, 3370 Vikersund.
Historical Mining Tour in the Cobalt Mines
Our most popular tour, where you can experience our underground attractions, the «floating glass floor» and the suspension bridge. The tour takes 1.5 hours and is universally accessible. Read more about the trip here!

Mining safari in the Cobalt Mines
Our most spectacular tour, where you can experience everything the Cobalt Mines have to offer. The tour takes 3 hours and has an age limit of 8 years. Read more about the trip here!

Children's mine tour in the Cobalt Mines
A great introduction to the cobalt mines, designed for children aged 4-10 but a nice trip for the whole family. The trip takes 1 hour and is universally accessible. Read more about the trip here!

Historical guided tour of Værket
Join us on a guided tour of Blaafarveværket and learn about our 250-year history. Tickets can be purchased at the Tourist Information Centre at Værket.
