Nyfossum was the home of Blaafarveværket's technical director Friedrich Roscher who came to Værket in 1822. The director's residence with the Ida Lorentzen museum, the timber barn, the storehouse and the new reconstructed wagon shed frames the cozy yard. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with flowers, herbs, gazebo and carp pond, you can really enjoy tranquility and history in green surroundings.
