This year, Blaafarveværket is open throughout the autumn holidays, up to and including 5 October. This means experiences for the whole family and the last opportunity to see this year's art exhibitions.
The autumn holidays in Buskerud are from 27 September - 5 October. This is also the last week of our season and we keep the entire museum open every day from 11-17. NB! On Saturday 4 October, the Cobalt Mines and the Kittelsen Museum will be closed.
Art exhibitions
Take the chance for one last glimpse of "The sunshine painter, Hans Dahl" at Værket. This summer's big art experience has received fantastic feedback from our visitors.
The Norwegian Feltmakers' anniversary exhibition at Nyfossum shows us what can be made from wool and felting. "Wool - a miracle of nature" is worth a visit, along with a tour of the Director's Residence and the beautiful garden at Nyfossum. Admission is free here!
The Kittelsen Museum at Koboltgruvene is filled to the brim with Theodor Kittelsen's original works. Here you'll find goblins, trolls, mysticism, landscapes and fairy tales in perfect harmony. Admission is also free! NB! The Kittelsen Museum is closed on Saturday 4 October.
Mining tours in the Cobalt Mines during the autumn holidays
During the autumn holidays, all our guided mining tours go to the Cobalt Mines.
Historical mining tour runs Sundays at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm on weekends and at 12 noon and 2pm on weekdays.
Children's Mining Tour runs every day at 13:00 and 15:00 during the autumn holidays except Saturday 4 October when the Cobalt Mines are closed.
Mining safari goes on Sundays at 12.30 pm.

Children's Farm
The autumn holidays will also be the last opportunity to visit Barnas Bondegård this year. Stop by and say goodbye to the goats, pigs, calves, chickens, rabbits and ducks that have delighted thousands of children during this year's season.
