Christmas Market at the Cobalt Works

True to tradition, the museums at Værket and Haugfoss will be open before Christmas. On Saturday 29 November, we will open the doors again to round off what has been an eventful year at the museum.

Opening hours Christmas Market
29 November - 14 December 12am - 6pm

After a great summer and autumn we are going into "Christmas mode". In addition to thousands of Lefsekling, Christmas cakes and a variety of goodies are also produced in our kitchen. Dozens of pork patties are made, hundreds of kilos of currants are juiced and our famous Christmas herring is put on glasses.

Opening hours: 29 November - 14 December, 12-6pm daily.

In The Barrelmaker's Inn dinner and other goodies will be served, in addition to the sale of Christmas cookies and goodies from the kitchen. With spacious opening hours in the afternoon, we hope the local population has the opportunity for a dinner trip even on weekdays.

Christmas shopping at the Works' and Haugfoss
The Blue Shop at the Works' as well as the General Store and Madame Reiff's shop at Haugfoss follow the same opening hours before Christmas. All the shops are dressed up for Christmas both inside and out and are ready to welcome those who want to shop for gifts in peacefull and historic surroundings.
