Had a long and eventful day both above and below ground? Time for a breather? Of course you deserve it, and we have the perfect reward after an active day at the museum. In our cosy Gruvekroa cafeteria, you can enjoy both hot and cold dishes - and not least something good with your coffee.
Located in the heart of the Cobalt Mines, The Miners’ Inn is a perfect gathering place before or after an eventful day of exploration.
Enjoy a large, freshly baked waffle with home-made strawberry jam - or a plate of sour cream porridge. Here you are surrounded by art from contemporary artists and an incredible view of the cultural landscape across the Tyrifjord and Vikersund Ski Flying Hill. We have a varied selection of lunch dishes, casseroles and sour cream porridge - no-one should have to go mining on an empty stomach here!
