«Nordic Landscapes is a concert that explores musical landscapes in Nordic chamber music. Nordic composers often have unique ways of combining elements from folk music with impressionistic soundscapes, connecting the listener to the wilderness of Nordic nature. We are also reminded that nothing exists separately from its surroundings – being in a landscape means becoming one with it. The landscape shapes our cultural heritage, our thoughts and identities, and thus also the sound of our music.
